I don't wanna be...

    The theme song to my life is also the theme song to One Tree Hill. Which also happens to be my favorite show at the moment. The chorus is my favorite part of the entire song and it has a solid meaning.

Anything other than what I've been trying to be lately

Or who I'm supposed to be
I don't want to be anything other than me.

      It's almost like you can go into any town in the country and the kids don't necessarily have an identity of their own; it's like whatever is on television is who they are I noticed that for myself being around school for so many years. It's hard for any place to have identity and that's the same thing that's happening with people these days. They don't have an identity of their own anymore.Personally I don't want to be anything other than me I am who I am for a reason and there is no one else I would rather be then myself. It is also quite unique that they use the song as the theme song for One Tree Hill when it is promoting every single stereo type in the "book."
