Hungary bans homelessness

As of December 1, 2011, it is illegal to be homeless in the European country of Hungary, as a new law prohibiting it comes into effect. Those who are found to be in breach of this law will initially be given a warning for sleeping out on the streets. Offenders may also face a fine of US$600, which equates to £382 or €445, or a jail sentence. I chose this because I thought that it was crazy the Hungary banned homelessness I have never heard of something happening like this in my life. Scaredy Cat

I have a huge fear of heights I believe it is because I am afraid of falling, being injured, or dieing. I was the most terrified I have ever been in my life and that was at the CN Tower and the other time in Grade 8 at leadership camp. At the CN Tower I was okay because I heard the glass was thick but what really scared me was when i looked down I felt like the glass could collapse at any minute and it also didn't help that there was a little kid jumping on it. I made sure we weren't on the glass for very long. When we went outside I was not sure if the cement would start to crack with everyone viewing I did not want to be there at all probably one of the scariest moments of my life. The next experience I had was in grade 8 I had to climb up a huge totem pole stand on top and jump of to try and grab a handle on a rope it was called the "leap of faith" I got to the top of the pole looked down and I almost started to cry I was so scared but eventually I got up and jumped. To this day I still am afraid of heights and still get shaky but I am doing fine.

Pet Peeve

My biggest pet peeve that brings out the rage from beneath my soul is when people drink from a juice carton or milk carton. Like why are you so lazy as to go into the cupboard and grab a cup. Sure someone may say it is convienent. Well I say grab a cup and drink from that I am not going to drink that milk or juice while it sits there still in the fridge just freshly getting germs all over the carton, like no thank you I do not want any of your germs. Althought I cannot lie I have done it from time to time but I am am not a frequent abuser to the carton by drinking from it whenever I want a drink. I get a nice clean glass and drink from that because I do not want to give anyone else my germs I respect others around me. For those people that do not have that respect you might as well get out and stay out or call me up and I will simply pour you a drink instead of your disgusting germs all over the carton. I certainly have pleaded my case here and would just like for all of you people who drink right from the carton to please consider others and grab yourself a cup or glass, because who knows someone might get you.

Basketball

Basketball is a sport that I very much enjoy to play, I would play on the school team but am not going to just for particular reasons. I like to wake up early and come to school every tuesday and thursday morning to play just a pick-up game of basketball with some other basketball players. We have fun playing the game and do not have to worry what the score is or how well we are playing. We all just do our own thing and work together. I feel that I don't mind the competitive nature of being on a team to compete but it is much more fun to be having fun while your doing something that you enjoy doing. I played basketball in grade 10, and 11 and I also have played house league basketball with a lot of guys from our school which made it even more fun playing. My parents say I would make a great coach for any sport because I have the knowledge of each sport and I am out there to have fun and let kids have fun. I wouldn't want any kid on any of my teams not having fun or complaints. My favourite player in the game has to be Kevin Durant I think he is probably one of the best players in the NBA right now and my favourite team is the team he plays for the Oklahoma City Thunder, although I do still like the Toronto Raptors, you got to support a Canadian team when your Canadian. what inspires me

Cell phone users while driving are one of  my biggest things that irratates that many people do these days. So many using them while driving is very unsafe for the passangers as well as the traffic around the driver. Also the people that try and to eat a meal your looking down distracting your eyes from the road trying to take a bite of something. The world is going crazy and it's driving the rest of us crazy at the same time. So to all of you people out using your cellphones texting and driving or talking on the phone and driving please stop it will make the roads safer to drive on. Not to mention the people that eat and drive you can stop as well because you could hurt yourself or others around you.

My Wish

            The age that I would most like to be is age 3. My little brother is that age now and he looks like he is having the time of his life. I really just want to have that feeling back of not having a care in the world, and just doing my own thing. I would have to say I probably acted like a "wild animal" in the words of Bronte Soper that is. All my little brother does is play games, ride his bike, and watch television, oh and eat a lot. That age looking back on it now just reminds me of the good times I had back in the day my favourite shows being barney, and franklin. I always loved sneaking down the stairs really early in the morning even though my mom said I had to stay in my room until 6 I would creep down the stairs at 5 am. Well I think that is all from this neck of the woods I am D.J. Brenneman and I wish I was a 3 year old.

Hi,
It's me again I am here today to talk about a book I read for my ISU last year for summer school it was probably one of the better books I read the book is called "Mindscan" written by Robert J. Sawyer a great Canadian author writing in the science fiction genre. The book takes you through the life of a boy and how there is some how another clone of him somewhere in the world or outside world he chose to make of himself but they must never come in contact. The novel is full of great action and mystery if you would like to read the book then I am pretty sure Mr. Wong has it in our library and if not then maybe your local library will have a copy for you. I hope you enjoy.
