Bon Cop, Bad Cop

     The chemistry between leads Colm Feore and Patrick Huard is good, but the overused Canadian cliches in the country's first bilingual film sometimes get to be a bit much in this buddy cop film from Quebec. It covers all of the bases you'd want when it comes to a mismatched cop thriller. The bilingual format creates enough of a new ripple to keep it slightly different than the rest of the movie. Much of the comedy cines from the difference between the two languages, especially as they relate to the prevailing attitudes between the provinces. Hockey fans should also enjoy the many references to the game, and viewers who like cop comedies of even the most wierd kinds or people will also find it entertaining. Bar fights, hothead captains, hot babes, and fast cars. This one's strictly for the genre fans nothing else. Furthemore, we are never quite filled in about the killer's motives. We learn who the killer is, and we learn how he did it, but the explanation doesn't go much further than he likes hockey. Give me a killer with believable motive and you have yourself a very good film.

KONY 2012

Joseph Kony is one of the world’s worst war criminals and I support the international effort to arrest him, disarm the lRa and bring the child soldiers home. There are plenty of men in east Africa with guns and armies, plenty of brutal militia and bandits but only one . The video is very powerful, but it has accrued more than 26 million views on YouTube in two days. Of course the situation is not as simple as the film implies. The LRA is not the only bandit group in east Africa, though it may have a claim to be the most brutal. And it is hardly Africa's least-covered issue.  The international criminal court already has a warrant out for Kony's arrest it was the first they ever issued and the Ugandan and South Sudanese militaries aren't exactly his biggest fans. As well as stopping a brutal and evil man, it may also send the message to others that they are unable to operate with anything more in east Africa and perhaps more importantly, it might send a signal to people there that the world has a stake in their lives. The film states that it expires on December 31st 2012 and it is good that people are aware of what is going on with Kony. Even if Kony is still not caught at the end of this year, some of the message will have got through to people. In fact, the power of the internet is that, in just two days, much of it already has. Please spread the word lets all make this world a better place and put a stop to Joseph Kony.

My Trip to Brazil

I board my flight for take off in Toronto, Ontario aboard the West Jet plane to go to my destination Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. I will take a taxi to the city where I will backpack everywhere I go of course for sanitary reasons go into a hotel once and again for a nice sleep and of course a SHOWER! For two nights it will cost me $214 although there is going to be tax. I will be going to the Windsor Miramar Hotel in Rio. For my entertainment aspect I will be going to see a soccer game in Rio to watch a soccer team play it will not matter who because any soccer game played somewhere in South America is bound to be a good one. I would like to try the cuisine at the restaurant called "Amir". They seem to have very nice food and for 35 to 45 dollars to enjoy a buffet of different Brazilian or more Middle Eastern food. Brazil is such a nice country I would love to go there one day.

This story is very well worth the read it is the story of a woman travelling to Hudson Bay in Manitoba where there are only 900 people living in the community. There are no roads so you need another way to travel, you must fly, sail, or go by train. You get to see the incredible "Northern Lights" and see the wild Polar Bears of the north. It would be an incredible experience to go there to a place where no many people travel and even develop a new look on life. Seeing the polar bears would possibly make me scared even though they are so nice looking I know that they can be vicious animals. When I read she saw 18 of them on her week long travels I couldn't believe it, I have not even seen one in my life and for her to see 18 it just shows that I do not get out very much or it is possibly a money situation although I am sure I could make it out of Hudson's Bay alive!

Currently, I'm not very satisfied with what I am, but I see myself being very different in ten years from now, because I would like to change a lot of things about my life.

First, I want to change my physical image by exercising and losing weight.

For travel, I would like to go to Italy and Australia to enjoy the wonderful weather and scenery.

I would  like to be living in the same house I am in now. I would spend most of my time swimming and sitting in the garden. I would also have big birthday parties at my house especially for my children's birthdays.

One of my favorite hobbies is teaching, so I would like to open up my own school and become principal of it . I can see myself as a businessperson as well.

I Love Makin' Money

    If I was going to be anyone in the world I would be Carlos Helu, because he is the richest man on the planet. Who would not want to have 74 billion dollars. Money gets you everywhere in life you need money for pretty much everything in life. People say other reasons like Ms. Feick just mentioned integrity but to be honest I would have money over anything. I guess you could say I am a greedy person and I am not ashamed of it. I would love to own the biggest telephone company in the world and everything that they do. Always working with telecommunications it is something that people use everyday as a way of communication it would pretty hard not to have telephones around. Even though there are obviously some people do not use them but most of the planet does. My friends would not change because they would help me out in the company and I would be giving them a paycheck every week that they could not refuse. I would love to be rich and famous and be with my friends all the time and of course I would go see my family all the time so I would probably start up the company close to home so that I can see them, also to make them not have to ever worry about money
